It is not an overly sweet perfume. I do smell a tiny hint of oud vibes. However this will smell and perform differently on each individual. This only lasted 2 hours on my skin but lasts longer when sprayed on clothing. I would probably layer with other perfumes with similar notes. I don’t find this to be anything special and don’t really see the hype. I would highly recommend a sample first rather than a blind buy. I personally would not repurchase again. A time-honored union of creamy jasmine and rich Madagascan vanilla orchid draws out the sweet softness of Brazilian tonka.
There is no wow factor. I do feel there are better high end perfumes for less that will perform better. I find that I smell the vanilla/Tonka notes on my skin when it dries down in which it smells a little sweeter. Beautifully balanced oriental notes of musk, amber, patchouli, and brown sugar form the distinguished wood base of this utterly sublime scent. Initially when I first sprayed I wasn’t too keen. I have so say for the price it’s quite underwhelming and I note this as a subtle fragrance. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get hold of the 10ml so took the plunge with a 100ml. Based on the notes I thought I would like.
